Hi, I am Luis and I write this letter because I’m gettingbored and for you who are reading it in the future. I am a normal boy, at least for me. The majority of the population does not think like me today, including myparents. I don’t think that I will never do coming out with my parents. The only person who knows my secret is my best friend Erica, she found out for herself whenwe were12 years old. I have a lot of hobbies but they are a bit strange for a 17 years old boy. In this period I follow Economics and Politics. Today Ronald Reagan was elected president, I am very happy even if he won‘t solve my problem, but that’s ok. I would like to leave butI love my city, New York has many flaws, like people, but it is my home. In this moment I should listen to thephilosophy professor, he is a socialist and he isexplaining Marx’s Capital.

As every normal boy I love listening to music, now I’mlistening the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon’sdeath, two months ago, marked me.

I go to school every day like any normal boy, I have mystrange passions like a normal boy, I listen to music likea normal boy, but for this society I am not a normal boy, I can’t live with my secret, my “problem”,  but that’s ok, I can resist… but not forever.
